Lincoln Park Home Interior Design
Style of project: Modern Traditional
Full-Service Interior Design
2025
This Lincoln Park project brought Terracotta Interiors' tailored, livable approach to one of Chicago's most beloved neighborhoods. The goal was a home that feels polished and personal while working hard for everyday city life.
This Lincoln Park brownstone called for an interior that felt timeless without becoming overly traditional. The project centered on translating the client’s already sophisticated eye for design into a cohesive vision, balancing warm woods, tailored upholstery, patterned textiles, soft color , classic design elements, and moments of contemporary contrast. The third-floor walk-up introduced another layer of consideration, making scale, access, and installation central to every furnishing decision. Nearly every piece was either custom made or sourced through antique dealers, with the intention of remaining part of her life and home for decades. Working within the brownstone’s existing architecture, the transformation unfolded entirely through furnishings, area rugs, textiles, art, and collected pieces. The result is a home that embraces enduring craftsmanship, with furnishings chosen to live beautifully for a lifetime.
Designing for City Living
City homes ask every room to do more. Our approach focuses on careful space planning, smart storage and furnishings scaled to each room, so spaces feel open and easy to move through. A cohesive palette helps the rooms read as one home, and layered lighting keeps them bright and warm through Chicago's long winters.
The Result
The result is a Lincoln Park home that feels refined yet relaxed, designed around the people who live there. Explore the photos to see how each space comes together.
